    • If you would like to do the weekly bible study, please notify Chaplain Venessa
  • Today is Fowler Fierce Day and that sums up our attitude now and always.
  • The Fowler team is fierce for our mission
  • We are fierce in our love for our residents.
  • We are fierce in doing the right thing at the right time
  • You have all been handpicked to be here at this time together
  • Esther 4:14 says “you were born for such a time as this”
  • The story of Esther is timeless
  • She was a woman of bible whose story is very much a story of modern times, filled with lessons that are timeless and universal.
  • Here is a woman who, against all odds, became queen.
  • She was put in a position that she didn’t think she had the ability or power to possess.
  • She used her position to help others.
  • She risked her life for her people. ⠀
  • She made choices ⠀
  • She chose courage
  • She chose kindness⠀
  • She chose selflessness
  • She chose to be faithful and persevered
  • She knew when to turn to others for advice and guidance and when to make decisions on her own.
  • She knew when to be bold
  • She was fierce. ⠀
  • Her very ordinariness suggests that ordinary people can rise to the moment and take on unexpected strengths. She was an ordinary person who rose to do extraordinary things⠀
  • And I see this daring kindness, hope and fierceness all around Fowler.
  • Crisis brings forth character.
  • It enhances the qualities that already exist in each of us. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
  • You are walking outside of your comfort zone and into the land of ‘God courage’ and ‘God bravery.’
  • I see modern day Esther’s everywhere – our team, our residents, our families, our donors and volunteers ⠀⠀
  • My prayer is for modern day Esther’s to rise up together and be a force for the good.
  • And this force is not made by man but made by God. ⠀
  • I’m excited to see our residents and team taking up the roles of Esther. ⠀
  • Prayers are being prayed
  • Listening is being cultivated
  • Grace is being given
  • It’s in the courage and love
  • It’s in the giving of grace and more grace
  • It’s in the leaning in to hear each other’s story
  • It’s in the bravery and selflessness
  • It’s in staying close to God’s heart
  • Here’s to the Esther’s at Fowler
  • May we ask God to make us braver each day
  • There is a battle to be won
  • God is on the move
  • Fowler Fierce is here!
  • Let’s keep fighting the fight against this invisible enemy
