Join us for our fourth annual Breast Cancer Awareness Community Walk & Program, a meaningful morning of awareness, education, support, and hope.

At Fowler, we believe no one should walk this journey alone. Residents, team members, families, friends, and community partners are invited to come together as we recognize those impacted by cancer and learn more about the importance of awareness and education.
Community Walk
The walk will begin at The Peak, 230 S. Fulton Street, Dallas, and travel through the Fowler campus before concluding at Pearl Nordan Care Center.
Participants will have the option of a short or long walking route. Along the way, Fowler residents and team members will cheer on participants with signs, pom poms, and messages of encouragement and support.
Educational Program
Following the walk, participants will gather in Schneider Chapel at Pearl Nordan Care Center for an educational presentation from Baylor Scott & White Health.
Program Schedule
- 10:00 AM – Community Walk begins
- 11:00 AM – Welcome and educational program
- 12:00 PM – Refreshments, resources, and community connection
- 12:30 PM – Event concludes
Community Cancer Banner
Guests will also be invited to visit Fowler’s Community Cancer Banner, which honors individuals impacted by all forms of cancer.
Participants may leave a message in honor or memory of a loved one, recognize their own journey as a survivor, or reflect on their experience as a caregiver.
Together, these messages create a visible expression of remembrance, hope, support, and community.
