Juliette Fowler Communities was recently featured by Lakewood Advocate as part of a look at education news happening throughout East Dallas.
The article highlights the development of Bezos Academy Lakewood at Juliette Fowler Communities, a tuition-free, full-day Montessori-inspired preschool designed to serve up to 60 children ages 3 to 5 from eligible families.
The partnership reflects Fowler’s commitment to creating opportunities for people across generations. Montessori principles complement many of the approaches already found throughout Fowler, from trauma-informed support for young people through The Ebby House and Youth Support Center to purpose-centered programming for older adults living with dementia.
For Fowler, bringing early childhood education to our campus is also an extension of our belief that support and connection early in life can make a lasting difference. Bezos Academy will add another generation to a community where children, young adults and older adults can learn, grow and thrive alongside one another.
The new preschool includes three classrooms, educator workspace and an outdoor play area. With construction complete, the program represents another exciting step forward in Fowler’s vision of connection and purpose for every generation.
We are grateful to Lakewood Advocate for sharing this exciting chapter in Fowler’s story and highlighting the ways local organizations and schools are investing in education throughout our East Dallas community.
