Today, September 15, 2020, during routine COVID testing, we learned that a contract care provider in the Pearl Nordan Care Center tested positive for COVID. The care provider is isolating at home.
Testing of staff and residents began tonight at Fowler. One resident has tested presumptive positive and is in isolation with no symptoms. We have no other team members or residents with COVID or with any symptoms of COVID at this time.
We remain vigilant in our efforts to exercise every reasonable precaution through our use of PPE, sanitizing and screening. Based on our prior experiences, these protocols can mitigate the risk of transference.
