    • Here at Fowler, we have another case to report

      • Today we learned that a resident in our assisted living has tested positive
    • Our Worth resident that was in the hospital has transitioned to Christian Care and is now with her friends from the Worth Neighborhood and doing well
      • All of our Worth residents, as well as our team members, are recovering

      • Residents in assisted living are socially isolating in their apartments

    • We have implemented a mid-shift screening which includes temperature checks for all staff, this is in addition to the start of shift screening that has been in place since March
    • Residents in our licensed areas will be monitored every 8 hours – this includes a check on all symptoms, vital signs and temperatures
    • I trust that all of my teammates have done the additional Relias class that was pushed out to you over the weekend – that is of highest priority
    • Based on the rise of cases in Dallas County and the surge in community spread, we have returned to restricted access in Independent Living – no visitors will be allowed in the building except for home health, hospice and other caregivers deemed essential. Compassionate care visits for end of life will be granted.
    • We will continue to respond to our COVID environment
      • We strongly recommend that everyone follow the recommendations of the Dallas County Health Department – Stay Home, Stay Safe
      • Limit your interactions outside of your home
      • Leave your home for essential needs only – groceries can still be delivered, and curb side pickup is still available
      • Love Your Neighbor Basics remains our top defense – AT ALL TIMES practice these simple life protecting rules:
        • Wear a mask
        • Wash your hands frequently
        • Sanitize hard surfaces
        • Social distance
      • I want to emphasize one more – monitor your own health – if you do not feel well, stay home, remain in your apartment and notify the management of your building
      • Symptoms you need to be monitoring:

Laura will continue to work part time at Fowler.
    • Congratulations to office manager Sylvia Ferguson who will be promoted to controller. Sylvia joined our team in May and brought years of accounting experience with her. We are grateful for her wealth of skills and knowledge – we are blessed to have her on our team.
