- Good afternoon Fowler Family!
- Today is Teammate Tuesday!
- We remain in Code Red High Risk Zone in Dallas
- Yesterday we reported 170 new cases and no deaths
- It’s the first day the county has not reported deaths since May 10
- To date, we have had 8998 cases and 211 deaths in Dallas County
- I want to go over a couple of points about our plans to open our community – we are in Phase 2 of 6 phases and we intend to be slow and steady
- We have received a question about walking dogs in adjoining parks.
- At this time, you should walk your dog in our 25-acre park-like community
- Some of you have expressed concern about the fairness of our opening plans
- Yes, we recognize everyone does not have a car
- Our decisions are not based on specific people – I don’t know who has a car and who does not
- These decisions are based on money or favoritism
- Our decisions are based on what provides the least amount of risk
- We are not eliminating all risk
- There has been concern about those who are driving offsite are not going to follow the rules and put everyone else at risk
- We cannot mitigate all risk
- We will continue to address the violations that are reported to us
- As it relates to a sense of disparity
- Our residents in PNCC can anticipate the last of the restrictions
- This is being governed by law
- Everywhere along the phase, there is going to be someone who has more or less than we do
- At some point, we will not have restrictions
- If you are driving, reach out to a neighbor who does not drive and see if they would like to take a ride
- There is a lot of talk about the dining rooms
- At this time, we believe the dining room poses risk to you
- You are welcome to have your meals in apartments with friends
- Schedule your own dining party – you have endcap dining rooms in many of our hallways
- We recommend you minimize your own risk by spending time with people who are compliant
- Regulations do not allow us to have communal dining in assisted living or licensed nursing
- We all acknowledge this is hard
- We are all frustrated – its normal
- Practice Gratitude – find something to be thankful for
- Let’s focus on what we can do instead of focusing on what I can’t do
- Erin Mason – its’ teammate Tuesday!
