- They have been working on it for 5 years but it has been fast tracked for human testing
- Process:
- Phase 1: 45 healthy people in Seattle have received the vaccine to confirm it is safe
- Phase 2: Next step is to study two groups – a group that gets the vaccine and a placebo group.
