- Regarding the Reopening of Fowler
- Phase 1 is just that – it is a phase toward the full reopening of Fowler
- We are not throwing open the doors to Fowler any time soon
- The data does not support doing that
- We have tentative dates for each of these phases; but that’s what they are – tentative
- Each phase is based on our assessment of the data and the level of risk associated with that information
- If we feel something is low risk and we have the data to support it, such as the postman and pest control returning, then we will implement it
- If it doesn’t make sense and we don’t have the data to support it, we won’t
- As we determine who comes back on campus to provide service, we are full vetting their protocols and how they work with ours
- The data does not support family members and visitors returning to Fowler now
- No family visits at Fowler at this time
- Family visits are a part of Phase 6 which is tentatively estimated to begin in June
- We do not have a timetable for moving through the phases and we would rather err on the side of caution than put anyone at risk
- Regarding Phase 1
- Residents in FCA and Jackson Living Center who have been socially isolating may now visit their neighbors
- It is your responsibility to maintain a safe distance from anyone who is not compliant with our restrictions
- When visiting with your neighbors, maintain social distancing, wear your masks and restrict the number of people in any one location to ten or less
- FCA residents – you can now pick up food from Friends Helping Friends and Tommy Gee at Means check-in point
- Means Activity and other common areas in Building C/D are closed indefinitely due to attachment to the licensed assisted living
- If anyone is interested in a Facetime visit with Daisy the therapy dog, please contact your life enrichment team member to schedule
- And of course, you can ask to schedule a Facetime visit with your family members as well
- Have a great day on purpose
