- Its been a tough week for Dallas County and COVID
- Friday the county reported another single-day record number of new COVID19 cases: 298 new cases and 10 deaths bringing our total count to 11,541 confirmed cases and 260 deaths
- This week is the highest number of new cases and the highest number of deaths
- We are still in the RED ZONE: Stay Home and Stay Safe
- Our recommendations to you remain in line with Dallas County Health Department:
- We cannot anticipate every situation that would put you at risk
- We are each charged with the responsibility of staying informed, taking actions based on common sense and following the guidance offered by our healthcare experts
- While we moved into phase 3 of our re-opening there are a few areas I need to reiterate:
- VISITORS are still restricted by law. It is not our choice.
- No visitors in any Fowler building – strictly prohibited
- No visitors on benches
- No visitors anywhere
- While essential doctor visits are within the scope of our current phases, routine doctor visits are not recommended – we highly suggest telemedicine
- Our changes this week were designed for us all to learn to how to live with COVID
- It is each of our responsibilities to access our risk and make decisions with our health and the health of our neighbor in mind

- We received a surprise $50,000 this week from Eastside Community Church
- We have been so blessed by all who have donated to Fowler during this time
- We also want to thank the residents who helped us put together our appeal letter to our donors
