“Me, Myself and I: Making a Successful Plan”

With the growing number of older adults aging alone, individuals must actively plan for the future. Understanding the options and having a strategy reduces uncertainty and helps a solo ager be in control of their future. Join us for this informative look at planning for your future. Ultimately…. Planning gives us CHOICES.

Carol Marak, solo aging advisor and syndicated columnist, is also the founder of The Elder Orphan Facebook group, creating a national movement, raising awareness and conversations about the solo aging concerns and challenges.  She writes and speaks about crucial topics encountered by people 55 and over when aging alone.

Carol spent thousands of hours helping her parents, researching needed resources, and writing hundreds of articles on aging-related topics. After caregiving, Carol soon understood the significance of planning ahead, especially when alone with no support.  According to Marak, “There is no greater teacher than family caregiving to learn the challenges of aging.”

Laying the proper groundwork for the advanced years builds self-reliance and confidence to face the future. Are you ready to take action and gain insight into what’s ahead? She proves that moving into action and planning, you can bypass overwhelm and self-doubt.

Seating is limited; please RSVP 214.818.0344
